Program Description:

This course gives the most up to date insight into current services engineering aspects of the built environment sector. It deals with classical services engineering issues by providing solid theoretical and practical foundations, enabling graduates to cope with anything they might meet in practice. It is designed to meet the construction industry's need for suitably qualified Building Services Engineers by providing the opportunity for graduate Engineers in other disciplines, or corporate members of appropriate professional bodies to transfer to this branch of the construction industry. The EPSRC has awarded five studentships to the course acknowledging its high academic standing. Strong links with local and international practices ensure high employment of our graduates, primarily with consulting offices. Our graduates have also joined contracting firms, research organisations and government and public authority organisations.
