The Rhea Hirsch School of Education, located on the Los Angeles campus of theHebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, is the Reform Movement's premierinstitution for the preparation of professionals in Jewish education. It wasfounded in 1969 in response to a growing demand for the development of a cadre ofJewish educational leaders. In addition to its outstanding academic courses, theRhea Hirsch School was a pioneer in the field of clinical education and mentoring.
