Program Description:
Harvard Law School operates a Graduate Program for study beyond the Juris Doctor degree. The Graduate Program offers two degrees: the Master of Laws (LL.M.) and the Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.). The LL.M. is a one-year program for individual pursuing advanced legal studies and academic research and scholarship. The S.J.D. is the School's most advanced degree, designed for aspiring legal academics who wish to pursue sustained independent study, research, and writing. In addition to the LL.M. and S.J.D. degrees, the Program also accommodates a number of visiting researchers and scholars.
