Program Description:

The Master of Arts program is designed for persons who want to develop or increase their theoretical and practical skills for religious leadership, and/or who wish to take advantage of Hartford Seminary's unique resources in Islamic Studies and Christian-Muslim relations. The program offers opportunities to explore varied approaches to the study of religion through courses in scripture; the historical and pastoral disciplines; theology and ethics; world religions; faith and public life; liturgy and spirituality; and the social sciences. The Doctor of Ministry program stresses the reflective practice of ministry, with an emphasis on ministry in congregations.
