Program Description:

The Master of Surgical Science with Honours is designed to provide research training for medically qualified postgraduate students as a prelude to, or in the early years of training in their surgical specialty. The typicalstudent will be at the stage of becoming a registrar. The course has arisen by request from surgeons at the Princess Alexandra Hospital to answer a need, perceived nationally, that the clinical practice of surgery anunderpinning of modern biological research.
