Program Information
Degree Offered
Master of Arts in Ministry Studies
Format: Online
Program Description:
We recognize that many who are already involved in or plan to be involved in vocational ministry in the local church desire further master's level theological education, but relocating to a residential campus is undesirable. The 36 hour, fully online Master of Arts in Ministry Studies is a great option! Courses are designed to allow you to do the work when it fits your schedule. Also, our students who have taken on-line courses at Grace not only enjoy the course content, they form a community of learners. The M.A. in Ministry Studies offers a Camp Administration concentration.
This degree is comprised of 12, 3-credit courses for a total of 36 credit hours. These courses are 8 weeks in length, so two are offered back to back during each semester (fall, spring, and summer). It is possible for a student to complete this degree in six semesters, which is two years. This program is cohort-based. Students will join a group of other students and continue with this same workgroup, or cohort, for the entire term of the program. If a student must skip a semester because of his/her schedule changes, or he/she wishes to take classes at a slower than suggested 2-year pace, the student will still enjoy interaction with other cohorts at Grace.
