Program Description:

Research Degree programmes are available in Architecture, Fine Art, Design, Digital Design and Historical and Critical Studies; and interdisciplinary projects within the School's supervisory capacity. The GSA also welcomes proposals that promote collaboration across academic boundaries in conjunction with partner institutions, including the University of Glasgow. We offer both full-time and part-time modes of Research Degree study. Completion of the PhD programme normally takes a minimum of three years full-time, or five years part-time. Students are able to choose, according to their individual programme of research, a mode of submission that best articulates their original contribution to knowledge.
