The developments in the domain of Multimedia, Knowledge and Information Technology are undoubtedly one of the most important factors for the expansion and growth of the industrial as well as the service sector, on the internal as well as world market. A permanent strive for innovation and introduction of new technologies is the characteristic of a dynamic enterprise. The most important attribute of such enterprise is qualified personnel that are capable of building out and enlarging the company's competitiveness and performance through their knowledge and skilfulness with regard to new technologies and methodologies. The Advanced Studies in Knowledge and Information Management aims at training such professionals. This one year programme gives insight in the practical application of the newest methodologies and techniques for a successful Knowledge and Information Management integration such as virtual and augmented reality, document management, workflow technology, internet, WWW, data and simulation visualisation etc. Special attention is paid to organisational, managerial and communicative skills.
