Program Description:

Provide a fundamental training in the medical and scientific aspects of medicine, health care and prevention in developing countries. Frame health care in the socio-cultural, political and economic context of developing countries and deal with the problems of international cooperation and development. Offer an insight in the background and elaboration of the different health systems of North and South. Analyse the developmental policy, study the creation of intercultural openness and solidarity, the instruction of project management, the insight in the integral socio-economic development and conflict management. Promote knowledge and understanding of the international cooperation within Flanders and Europe.
