Program Description:

Environmental law becomes more and more important for legal practice. As environmental legislation is growing, lawyers are increasingly confronted with its application. Whether they are working for the administration, for a company , at the bar, as a judge or as a notary public, lawyers are expected to have a thorough knowledge of environmental law. Environmental .law has been an optional course for several years at the law faculty of the Gent University. Recently there is also a possibility to focus on environmental law within the program of the advanced studies business lawyer.
