Program Description:

The general goal of this training and education programme is to form highly skilled Paediatric dentists in accordance to the guidelines for postgraduate training and education of the European Academy of Paediatric dentistry. Dental students obtain a basic 30 hours course in paediatric dentistry during their curricular as future DDS. This is completed with some preclinical exercises and clinical training limited to preventive and conservative treatment of the healthy child up to 18 years.. The clinical approach however of anxiety patients, the clinical treatment of dental traumatology aswell as diagnosis and treatment of medically compromised including disabled is not included in this programme for gradutate students.
