This program prepares individuals to teach children with emotional and behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and mild mental retardation (Interrelated Special Education), students with severe/profound mental retardation, deaf and hard of hearing students, orthopedically impaired students and for early childhood special education. The course of study meets the requirements for professional certification in Special Education in the State of Georgia.
