Program Description:
The Social/Cognitive program at GSU includes the traditional areas of cognitive and social psychology. The program deals with human and animal cognition, human factors and performance, personality, and social thought and action. Current faculty interests include learning and memory, attention, skilled task performance, cognitive aging, cognition among chimpanzees and rhesus monkeys, individual differences in cognition and social behavior, issues of sex and gender, and cross-cultural similarities in social perception and social behavior.
