Program Description:

The Master of Science (M.S.) degree program in the Department of Geology offers a broad range of courses that prepare students for research and careers as professionals. Both thesis-option and non-thesis option programs are offered. Research efforts are concentrated in the following broad areas: geochemistry, hydrogeology, petrology, sedimentology, and structural geology.
