Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership

Program Description:
The Ed.S. in Educational Leadership is designed to further develop leaders for school or system level administrative positions or administration in higher education. Two program concentrations are offered: (1) the School Administration Concentration is a 33 semester hour Fall or Spring Admission Program administered through the cohort process and includes a residency (a performance-based internship) which is guided cooperatively by the University and the school/district partner, (2) the Higher Education Administration Concentration is a 30 semester hour program.

Eligibility Requirements:
GRE or MAT test scores are required.
Personal statement of purpose, not to exceed 200 words.
For the School Administration Concentration only: (1) three years school/district experience prior to admission to the program is required, and (2) the applicant must submit school/district endorsement and agreement for Residency at the Building or District level.
