Program Description:
The Education Specialist in Instructional Technology degree program is a rigorous, high-quality, cutting-edge online learning experience designed to meet the needs of educators working with 21st century learners. The Ed.S. program provides advanced training in the use of technology in teaching and learning that naturally aligns with using those same technologies to create dynamic environments for instructional delivery.
The Program is 100% online utilizing a variety of Web-based technologies for learning activities, including Georgia View. While the program is delivered primarily in an asynchronous format, synchronous chats and other instructional activities such as student presentations may be scheduled at the discretion of the instructor of each class. The intended audience for this program is school library media specialists, teachers, technology specialists, and others who work in educational settings who would like to assume a leadership role in instructional technology. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in instructional/educational technology or other closely related field.

Eligibility Requirements:
MAT or GRE scores.
Complete requirements for a master's degree in Instructional Technology or closely related field such as Library and Information Science; or possess a master's degree in another field that includes a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours of Instructional Technology coursework. The master's degree must be from a regionally accredited institution.
