Program Description:
The transportation graduate program at Georgia Tech provides a depth of knowledge on the basics of how transportation systems work and how they are designed and encourages student to add breadth to their education by understanding the environmental, institutional, and societal context within which they will operate. The technical core courses include urban transportation planning, traffic engineering, design of highway and transit facilities, transportation administration, and statistics. As a supplement, students are encouraged to take courses from other academic units at Georgia Tech.
