Program Description:
The School of Applied Physiology at the Georgia Institute of Technology emphasizes the physiology of movement: motor planning and control, the mechanics of movement, and the physiological responses to activity. The Ph.D. program provides the opportunity for original, independent research, culminating in a doctoral dissertation. All students are required to complete a faculty-approved set of required courses, courses in an approved minor concentration, specialized focus area, and dissertation research.
