Program Description:

The M.A. program in Asian Studies provides both a strong foundation and an in-depth understanding of the modern history, politics, economics, and cultures of Asia. The program, recognized as one of the best of its kind in the United States, focuses on China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. In recognition of the breadth of GW's resources in the areas of Asian studies and trade and investment policy, GW has been selected as one of the nine APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Study Centers in the United States.
