Program Information

Degree Offered

M.Ed.-Educational Foundations and Leadership

Format: Campus

Program Description:

The EDFL department offers two graduate degrees and several endorsement or licensure programs approved by the Oregon Teachers and Standards Practices Commission (TSPC). Each of the graduate programs offered at George Fox University are an extension of the university’s mission to provide high quality, Christ-centered education. This is accomplished through a variety of programs designed to prepare students to enter professions, advance within their profession, or enhance their knowledge or skills. Professors teach all truth as God's truth, integrating all fields of learning around the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Each specialization in the MEd consists of approximately 18 semester hours of courses around a specific content area within education. Many of the specializations lead to an additional endorsement or license for K-12 educators in Oregon. They are available in either the MEd program or as stand-alone endorsements.
