Program Description:
The Master of Arts in Higher Education program prepares individuals for a variety of careers in college/university settings. It seeks to provide a vision for higher education that is driven by a consideration of foundational issues and shaped by an integrated Christian world view. The program is a 36-credit program delivered in two ways. The cohort model is taught in a weekly format over a 22-month time period. Contextualized learning is a participation requirement with 600 hours of related field experience during each studentÆs tenure as a full-time cohort student. The institutes model offers more flexibility for working professionals. In-depth courses are offered every summer for two weeks. This model can be completed in three years. Elective classes allow for program concentrations in Student Affairs Administration, Educational Leadership, College Teaching and Campus Ministry.
