Program Description:

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers academic preparation for the master's and doctorate in sociology, with specializations in ethnic/minority studies, demography and the sociology of religion. The department also conducts a master's degree program in justice and criminology, and participates in an interdisciplinary program in international political economy and development (IPED). The department is linked to the New York Doctoral Consortium, which includes New York University, Columbia University, and the City University of New York.
