Program Description:
This program is interdisciplinary in nature, drawing on the expertise of faculty from the following departments: History, Economics, Sociology and Anthropology, Political Science, Modern Languages, African and African-American Studies, Art and Music History, and Theology. The certificate program consists of 3 graduate-level courses: 1 Interdisciplinary course integrating the art, culture, and history of Latin America and Latinos in the U.S., 1 course on the history of Latin America or Latinos in the U.S., and 1 elective course on Latin American or Latino Arts and Humanities or Social Sciences.
