Program Description:

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences offers academic preparation for the master's and doctorate in English Language and Literatures, and is linked to the New York Doctoral Consortium,which includes New York University, Columbia University, and the City University of New York. In addition to its regular program, the department offers a program of comparative studies in cooperation with the department of modern languages, in literature and theology with the theology department,and in medieval studies, in connection with several departments of the Graduate School.
