Program Description:

This program is designed for graduate students who are interested in studying the mass media. The program may result in a terminal degree, leading to a position in a media, advertising, or related organization. The program may also serve as preparation for doctoral work in mass communication, leading to a teaching or research position. By the conclusion of the master's program, students will have been introduced to a host of mass communication topics, which may include media research methods and tools, theories and content pertaining to media communication processes and effects, mass media regulation and policy, and many others.
