Program Description:
The Doctor of Education in Adult Education and Human Resource Development (AEHRD) is designed to serve the advanced graduate study needs of a wide range of professionals. The program prepares them to develop, facilitate, and manage programs for a wide range of adults in arenas such as post-secondary public and private education, business and industry, the military, government agencies, and health care. Instructional technology management, the professorate, performance and HRD consulting, and knowledge management are a few of the career arenas open to graduates. Professionals in these roles typically operate in local and worldwide settings as diverse as corporate universities, community and social service organizations, post-secondary institutions, hospitals and clinics, and external consulting organizations. The program caters to working professionals with evening and Saturday classes and offers courses at both the University Park Campus in Miami and the Broward-Pines Center in Pembroke Pines.
