Program Description:

The master's degree in physics requires a minimum of 33 graduate semester credit hours of study, including two graduate-level mathematics courses and seven core courses in physics. A master's thesis is optional. A special program involving 35 credits also earns the Certificate in Materials Science and Engineering. The master's degree in space sciences requires 33 semester credit hours of graduate study, including three graduate-level mathematics and computer science courses and six core courses in space science, physics, and engineering. A master's thesis is optional. There are no foreign language requirements.
