Program Description:

The Women's Studies Center at Florida Atlantic University offers a Master of Arts degree, with a wide variety of courses taught by its four faculty members and more than 50 associate members in various departments throughout the university. The curriculum allows students to focus their work in one of four concentrations--Sex and Gender: Myth, Film, Popular Culture, and Literature; Intersections: Women, Race, Ethnicity, and Nationality; Interventions: Health, Environment, and Community; and Generalist--each of which offers significant opportunities for engaging and synthesizing scholarship from a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspective.
