Program Description:
The FAU MBA in Sport Management program was established in 2000 as the original AACSB-accredited MBA in Sport Management in Florida and the second such program in the US. FAU MBASport is a practitioner-based program that requires students to be involved with internships, practica, and f/t or p/t jobs in the Sport industry from the moment they step on our Boca Raton campus. No thesis/research requirement. MBASport faculty have a minimum of a Masters degree and are current industry practitioners. About 2 years to complete. 90% placement.

Eligibility Requirements:
Students may not work in an industry outside of Sports while enrolled in MBASport. Students participate in either internships, full or part-time employment from their first day in the program. Students may not work, intern or GA in coaching, sports medicine, exercise science, personal training, or teaching during their tenure in MBASport. Transfer applicants are not excepted. No summer-students. No certificate program.
International Student Requirements:
For those students who qualify for personal interviews, all interviews will take place live and in person at FAU's Boca Raton. No phone interviews or third-party interviews will be conducted. There is absolutely no exceptions to this policy. All travel and lodging expenses are the responsibility of the applicant.
