Program Description:
Felician College offers an innovative MBA program with concentrations in Innovation/Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Management, and Marketing. MBA courses are offered as a combination of classroom and online learning coupled with hands-on practical applications. The hybrid nature of the program allows students to complete a quality MBA program in just two years. This 36-credit program is based on a cohort model that allows students to progress through the program with a cohesive learning team. Completing a new course every eight-weeks, students will benefit from the teamwork, support, guidance and motivation of an academic learning community.
Accounting: The Accounting MBA track provides graduates with the knowledge and skills to take financial leadership positions in existing or entrepreneurial businesses. More than this, however, thanks to a carefully designed business core that includes courses in leadership, management, and ethics, students graduating from the Felician College MBA program with a concentration in Accounting will be prepared to make contributions to their employers in areas beyond the financial realm. Indeed, through skills gained in areas such as strategic planning and implementation they will be the change agents of their businesses.
The MBA track in Accounting prepares students who have not yet done so to take the CPA exam and work in public accounting. Students who wish to enroll in the Accounting track will need to have successfully completed Intermediate I and Intermediate II accounting courses at the undergraduate level. Students who do not meet this prerequisite will be able to take these undergraduate prerequisite courses at Felician College.
Innovation/Entrepreneurship: Thanks to a carefully designed business core, which includes courses in leadership, management and ethics, students graduating from the Felician College MBA program with a concentration in Innovation/Entrepreneurship will be prepared to make contributions to their employers in areas beyond the financial realm. Indeed, using skills developed in the program such as market research, product development, and strategizing innovation, they will be prepared to drive creative change and immediately integrate theory into practice in the world of businesses.
The goal of the MBA track in Innovation/Entrepreneurship is to create visionary thinking and foster an independent and creative approach to problem solving. This will benefit individuals who run their own businesses or want to act as rainmakers within their organization. Corporations and start-ups must be able to adapt, innovate and change in a minute. The MBA with a concentration in Innovation and Entrepreneurship prepares the graduate to identify the processes, risks, investment, and technology considerations in innovation.
Management: Thanks to a carefully designed business core, which includes courses in leadership, management and ethics, students graduating from the Felician College MBA program with a concentration in Management will be prepared to make contributions to their employers in areas beyond the financial realm. Indeed, applying skills such as ethical decision making, critical reasoning, and teamwork they will apply their abilities to develop interpersonal skills and manage the decision making process to become the change agents of their businesses.
Whether it is an entrepreneurial venture or a multi-national corporation, successful businesses require employees with knowledge of global business perspectives and the ability to work with individuals in multi-cultural settings. The Felician MBA with a Management concentration prepares the graduate to manage enterprises that are engaged in global business, as well as organizations that employ a multi-national workforce.
Marketing: Thanks to a carefully designed business core, which includes courses in leadership, management and ethics, students graduating from the Felician College MBA program with a concentration in Marketing will be prepared to make contributions to their employers in areas beyond the financial realm. Indeed, the practice they gain in key presentation and communication skills, as well as the knowledge base they develop in product development, media marketing, and market research will poise these graduates to become the change agents of their businesses.
The MBA with a marketing track offers graduates a solid foundation on which to build and grow their ventures. You will leave the program equipped to address complex questions about how to bring products or services to the marketplace, making decisions that address and minimize risk and create niche markets for new ventures using the technological and social platforms of our time.

Eligibility Requirements:
Admission to the program is based on a holistic review of the applicant’s academic and professional background. A thorough review of academic transcripts, work history, resume, and personal statement determines admissibility.
Additionally, students are required to submit the results of the GMAT. Individuals who completed their bachelor’s degree over 5 years ago and have over 5 years of professional experience that reflects growth and increased responsibility may have the GMAT requirement waived based on the strength of their academic record, personal statement and work history. This determination is made on an individual basis by the faculty in the Division of Business.
