Program Description:

Fairmont State University (FSU) has developed a Graduate Emphasis in Multi-Categorical Special Education. The purpose of this emphasis is to permit teachers, with an existing certification, to acquire an additional certification.Fairmont State University (FSU) has developed a Graduate Emphasis in Multi-Categorical-Special Education Only. The purpose of this emphasis is to permit candidates who have no existing teaching license to acquire the Multi-Categorical Special Education Only license.The Leadership Studies program is offered in a cooperative manner with Marshall University. Students completing the program qualify for professional administrative certification as a PreK-Adult school principal in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky.The Professional Studies option is designed for those who currently hold an undergraduate four year teaching or non-teaching degree.Fairmont State University (FSU) has developed a graduate emphasis in Online Learning for our existing Master's Degree in Education that may also be offered as a stand-alone certificate program.
