The Master of Arts degree with a major in science, elementary science specialist concentration, is an interdisciplinary program designed to meet the needs of primary and secondary school teachers of science as well as others who might wish to pursue graduate study in more than one area of science. Each student can plan a program designed to meet his or her own objectives by choosing from a broad spectrum of courses in several scientific fields.
