Program Description:
FDU's master program in history is for those who want to pursue historical studies that intertwine the story of the European-American heritage. Courses emphasize the social, cultural,legal, political and economic institutions of both regions. The students have access to appropriate political science offerings as well.
Admission Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least 24 semester credits in history or closely related subjects.
In addition to general University requirements, applicants must have an undergraduate grade point ratio of not less than 2.75 on a scale of 4.00.
Applicants are required to submit three letters of reference that speak to their ability to successfully complete graduate studies.
Submission of an official score report for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test taken within the last five years. (The GRE requirement is waived for applicants who have completed a Master's degree.)
Applicants who have not completed all requirements for admission to the degree program may be permitted to enroll in classes for credit on a non-matriculated or non-degree basis.
