Alumni of the FDU program frequently exceed the national average pass rate on the CFP® certification examination.

The financial world is becoming more complex and sophisticated with each passing year. As the industry changes, demand continues to increase for qualified professionals in the field who can turn their knowledge and expertise into sound and effective financial planning advice.

According to the Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook, employment opportunity for personal financial advisors is expected to grow "faster than average" through 2012. " Financial advisors who have the CFP® Certification are expected to have the best opportunity "

In recognition of this demand, and in the pursuit of excellence, Fairleigh Dickinson University has developed a comprehensive non-credit Certificate Program in Financial Planning. The program is based on the guidelines established by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. and is registered with CFP Board.
