Program Description:
The systems science major is an interdisciplinary, flexible approach to specialized graduate study, which provides practicing engineers and scientists with advanced knowledge of contemporary topics of interest. The 36-credit program of study is primarily technical and consists of an integrated sequence of courses.
An advisory committee comprised of experts in the environmental sciences from both industry and government has assisted the faculty at FDU in formulating a curriculum for today's professionals in water resources, environmental regulations, pollution control and hazardous waste management. This program is specifically designed for technicians and entry-level scientists who have undergraduate science or engineering degrees.

Eligibility Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited college or university, with a baccalaureate degree in science, engineering or engineering technology.
* Submission of an official score report for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test taken within the last five years. (The GRE requirement is waived for applicants who have completed a master's degree.)
* Three letters of recommendation.
* Applicants who have not completed all requirements for admission to the degree program may be permitted to enroll in classes for credit on a nonmatriculated or nondegree basis. Environmental Studies Concentration
