Program Description:
Effective leadership is essential to the success of any endeavor, whether in the public or private sector. Students in the Master of Organizational Leadership program will nurture their abilities for effective leadership in order to assess, plan and direct an organization's most valuable asset--its people.
The 36-credit Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) degree program prepares Christian leaders with knowledge and skills to communicate vision, manage organizations, direct action and influence others. Integrating faith and learning within a Christ-centered worldview, students are equipped to become catalysts, creating a more effective organization.
Six core areas of leadership are emphasized within the framework of the Baldrige Quality criteria: leadership, strategic planning, systems development, human resource management, customer focus, and information & knowledge management, including organizational results.
Students will complete three action projects during the two years in the program which will enable them to apply knowledge from courses to their organizations and assist in achieving personal and professional goals.
Two delivery methods are available: an online hybrid option featuring courses offered primarily online and a more traditional local seated option. Each program will have both online and seated components.
The online hybrid track students will have a residential experience two times each calendar year. The first will be in July and the second in January, each time for 3.5 days. During this time, students will have significant opportunities for interaction with faculty members and their peers.
