Program Description:
The mission of the Master of Science in General Psychology: Experimental program is to produce graduates who think scientifically, creatively, and ethically about behavior and cognitive processes, conduct scholarly research, and express themselves clearly in their oral and written presentations to others. Experimental Graduate students who take advantage of all the opportunities our program has to offer are better positioned to apply for additional post-graduate education.
Our biggest strength is that we give each student individual guidance in a one-on-one mentorship, and make available opportunities essential for application to doctoral programs. Several graduates of the ESU masters in experimental psychology program have or are earning doctorates at institutions throughout the US.
Eligibility Requirements:
Volunteer, work, or research experience with animals preferred but not required for emphasis in Behavioral Neuroscience.
Research and presentation experience preferred but not required for Developmental, Social or Cognitive emphasis
Applicants for this program must be strongly interested in subsequently applying to doctoral program.
