Program Description:
This degree is intended for individuals who teach or lead programs in grades K through 12. The C & I Masters Degree provides flexibility through three areas of concentration: Teaching and Learning Specialist, National Board Certification, or Curriculum Leadership.

Eligibility Requirements:
Students must follow the graduate degree procedures of the Department of School Leadership/Middle and Secondary Teacher Education and the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Emporia State University. The criteria for admission include the following:
GPA (a minimum of 2.5 on last 60 undergraduate hours)
Completion of either the Graduate Record Exam or Miller Analogies Test scores [MAT Dates]
Successful Completion of the Departmental Graded Application Form (Download the Curriculum and Instruction Application)
Supervisor’s Personal References (two references completed by supervising administrators on forms provided) [view form]

Faculty Evaluation and/or Personal Interview (prerogative of admissions committee)
