Program Description:

Emory University School of Medicine provides the opportunity to acquire both clinical and basic research training for exceptionally bright and dedicated students in order to pursue careers in academic medicine. It is clear that solving the mysteries of health and disease requires leaders trained in both the methods of basic biomedical science and the methods of clinical medicine. We seek individuals who are not content to learn what is already known by others but who are committed to addressing what is not yet known. These physician-scientists contribute towards expanding the definition of the art of medicine.
