Program Description:

Distance Learning Career MPH students are required to complete the Core Curriculum which addresses the knowledge areas basic to the field of Public Health. The Core Curriculum consists of the following courses: biostatistics, social behavior, environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and resource allocations and healthcare management.

In addition, all CMPH students are required to complete eight courses which address the key competency areas outlined by the Council on Linkages including but not limited to: community needs assessment, evaluation research, informatics, public health law, surveillance and global health.
