Program Description:

The Program in Physical, Materials, and Computational Sciences (PMACS) is comprised of three inter-related core areas of multidisciplinary research and training: Materials Science (the analysis of complex materials and the synthesis of physical and biological materials), Molecular Biophysics (the structure, function, and dynamics of biological macromolecules), and Theory and Modeling (the development of mathematical models and computational tools to provide insight into the nature of biological and physical systems).
