M.A. - Theatre Education
Emerson's Theatre Education program is for students who want to work at the intersection of education and theatre. Our curriculum emphasizes practical experience through internships and teaching opportunities at schools, museums, and other cultural organizations in Boston. In addition to helping direct, stage manage, and design for Emerson theatre productions, students can also choose to earn their initial licensure in Massachusetts as teachers of theatre for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
Emerson College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
