Program Description:

Emerson's Theatre Education program is for students who want to work at the intersection of education and theatre. Our curriculum emphasizes practical experience through internships and teaching opportunities at schools, museums, and other cultural organizations in Boston. In addition to helping direct, stage manage, and design for Emerson theatre productions, students can also choose to earn their initial licensure in Massachusetts as teachers of theatre for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
