Program Description:
Emerson prepares students to be well informed, thorough, and ethical news professionals, with the skills necessary to practice in the broadcast, print, and online news media today and in the future. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. They are drawn to journalism at Emerson because they appreciate our rigorous, hands-on approach to teaching and learning in the center of one of the country's great news cities. The Department of Journalism provides an impressive all-digital, server-based newsroom-studio-control room complex designed to facilitate team-based, cross-media journalism.
