Since its inception in 1988, the Master of Arts in Applied Theology program has stressed a theory-into-practice approach to sacred theology. Elms MAAT students specialize in one of four areas (or may tailor their own program to reflect their personal need): Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Health Care Ministry, or Inner City Ministry.
