Program Description:

The Certificate of Graduate Studies in Health Education is designed to provide graduate level training and growth for the health education professionals in the greater northwest Pennsylvania region. It is designed to address the needs of both persons working in the various school systems as well as those in the private sector. The health education program combines coursework from the disciplines of health education, exercise science, and management as well as offering electives from areas of special interest to the student and is designed to develop competencies necessary for health education in a variety of settings. Examples of health education employment opportunities include school health, corporate wellness programs, public health agencies, state and local health departments, and private health clubs.
