Graduate Level Certificate in Correctional or Juvenile Justice Leadership
Format: Online
Program Description:
Eastern Kentucky University has a long tradition of preparing professionals for leadership careers in corrections and juvenile justice. We are now offering a 12-credit hour Graduate Leadership Program. Eastern Kentucky University's Graduate Program in Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies is the only program in the United States that focuses entirely on the issues of juvenile and adult offenders and society's response to these groups. Our certificate and degree programs emphasize building knowledge about offenders, and the application of that knowledge to correctional interventions, evidence-based practices, leadership, ethical conduct, and policy analysis. Juvenile justice or correctional practitioners can use this 4-course Certificate to get a “jump start” on their careers, and all of these classes can be applied towards a 30-credit hour Master of Science degree in Correctional and Juvenile Justice Studies. Credits to Complete: 12; 8 weeks; 6 starts per year
