The purpose of this multi-disciplinary program is to provide an in-depth study of Gerontology for both potential professionals and current practitioners working in the field.Students have the opportunity to develop an individualized graduate program of study including * The processes of aging * Problems of and opportunities for older persons * Social policy issues * Programs for older persons * Basic research in the field of aging# Learn about the network of social service agencies serving older persons# Develop competencies for working with older persons# Prepare for a wide range of careers in gerontology
