Program Description:
Health Services Administration is a multi-disciplinary field that focuses on the accessibility, financing, and organization of the health care services and the development and implementation of public health policy.
Eligibility Requirements:
dmission to the graduate program in public health is based upon scholarship, letters of recommendation, and evidence of potential including:
1. A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75;
2. Satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)*;
3. A minimum of two (2) years public health work experience is preferred though not required. Students without experience are required to complete PUBH 5850, unless taking the environmental health concentration.
* GRE scores are waived for applicants in the Tennessee Public Health Workforce Development Consortium who have successfully completed an approved graduate certificate.
