The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program offers men and women an opportunity to advance their knowledge and preparation for positions of responsibility in business or not-for-profit institutions.The M.B.A. program is fully accredited by AACSB International.The M.B.A. degree is recognized as the key to success in both large and small organizations. It is suited to graduates in engineering, science,technology, health care, the liberal arts, and other non-business areas, as well as students with undergraduate degrees in business. The M.B.A. is a general, broad-based degree program that incorporates and integrates study of the organizational, financial, and operational management of organizations; the global economic, technological, and information environment; and the production and marketing of goods and services.Emphasis is given to the strategic view of the organization, teamwork,and effective problem solving.

Eligibility Requirements:

A student applying to the M.B.A. program must be eligible for admission to the university as a graduate student and must meet the admission criteria for the program. The student must submit completed and scores on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Admission criteria include the applicant’s undergraduate grade point average and satisfactory scores on the GMAT. The applicant is presumed to have computer literacy and an understanding of mathematics. Students admitted to other graduate programs in the university may enroll in selected graduate business courses if appropriate course prerequisites have been completed. Non-degree students, visiting students,and applicants awaiting admission to the M.B.A. program may not register for graduate business courses without prior approval of the Associate Dean for Graduate Studies in Business and Technology.
