Program Description:

Our multi-disciplinary cultural anthropology graduate program at Duke aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in both current theoretical debates and methods of cultural research. Our faculty are asking how the culture concept can be rethought. Regions of research interest include, but are not limited to, Central and South America, Africa, Israel, China, Japan, Eastern Europe and the United States.
